I have a question about one of the recipes in the book. You make two pint jars of the vegetables in the Carolina Slaw recipe, but appear to only be using one in the second step. Is the dressing amount for one pint of fermented vegetables, or is it intended for both pints?

When in doubt, trust the amounts given in the written parts of the recipe, not what's in the pictures!

The truth is that you will probably have leftover fermenting liquid. If you used all of it, your slaw would be pretty wet.
